If you’ve ever watched “The Carol Burnett Show,” you know it’s always full of laughs and smiles. In one special clip, Tim Conway had his co-stars laughing uncontrollably with his quick improvisation.
In a scene where they were playing the game “Password,” Tim Conway, playing Mickey Hart, decided to tell a funny story about an elephant living in a circus.
Dick Van Dyke, Vicki Lawrence, and Carol Burnett couldn’t stop laughing.
Conway’s story took a surprising turn when he talked about the elephant and its trainer having a romantic relationship. He even joked about how they were buried together when they passed away.
The other performers tried to stay composed but ended up shaking and covering their faces, unable to stop laughing.
One of them exclaimed, “Tim, you’re killing us!” as they tried to catch their breath.
You can only imagine how contagious the laughter was, both for the cast and the studio audience. Moments like these show why “The Carol Burnett Show” was so popular.
