Teen daughter disowns mother in favor of unfaithful dad – years later she comes back begging

Once upon a time, there was a woman who thought she was lucky to marry a wealthy man. He seemed to have everything: money, power, and a life full of luxury. He spoiled her family with expensive gifts and even paid off her sister’s credit card debts.

He helped her brother get a job at a top company with a high salary. Life seemed perfect for her and her family, thanks to him.

But everything changed when she discovered that her husband was unfaithful. The first time it happened, she had just given birth to their daughter, Kelly. She was vulnerable, feeling overwhelmed by new motherhood, and thought about leaving him.

Despite the pressure, she went through with the divorce, but things didn’t go the way she had hoped. Her ex-husband, with his money and connections, hired the best lawyers and won custody of Kelly.

The woman was heartbroken. She still received alimony and a generous settlement, but she lost her daughter.

For years, the woman tried to stay in touch with Kelly, sending letters and asking to visit. But Kelly, influenced by her father and grandparents, refused to see her mother. Meanwhile, Kelly’s mother continued to work hard to rebuild her own life. She was determined not to let her relationship with Kelly be based solely on money.

“I won’t lie,” she said to her friend Tina, “it hurts to think that Kelly only wants to talk to me now because she needs money. But I’ll still help her. I’m her mother, after all.”

But the woman wasn’t just thinking about Kelly. She had another person in her life who had shown her love and loyalty—Laura, her goddaughter. Over the years, Laura had become someone the woman could count on, and she felt that Laura deserved her wealth far more than Kelly did.

The woman wanted Laura to inherit everything she had, not her daughter, who only came back into her life when she needed something.

Kelly, on the other hand, began to realize that her mother wasn’t as terrible as she had once thought. But the damage had already been done. The years of separation, the hurtful words from her father and grandparents, and the bitterness had left a mark on their relationship.
