Sharon Stone, born in Pennsylvania, just keeps getting better with age. In the 1990s, she became a Hollywood icon and sex symbol, making audiences swoon with her daring performances in blockbuster movies like Basic Instinct (1992) and Casino (1995).
Talking about her famous role in Basic Instinct, Sharon once said in Vanity Fair, “It’s about more than just a peek up my skirt, people. Wake up. Sharon keeps it simple with healthy eating, getting eight hours of sleep every night, and always staying active during the day. “I just move my body. I do it when I’m on set. I do leg lifts and back kicks and pop down on the ground and do some jackknifes,” she explained.
Sharon also shared that she’s a fan of weighted bracelets and still uses the famous ThighMaster, which was popularized in the 1990s by Suzanne Somers. “It is sensational. I put that between my legs while I’m watching TV… It’s the kind of thing you can throw in your suitcase because it doesn’t take up any space.”
On top of that, Sharon, who is a Tibetan Buddhist, practices mindfulness and meditation to keep a balance between her family, career, and aging. “Pleasure is the thing that lasts for a moment, and happiness is the thing that lasts with some continuation. So if we’re not happy for several days, we start to notice.”
She continued, “Are we doing these pleasurable things in any kind of excess, whatever those things might be for you? Everybody has their own vices, but if you’ve delved too deeply into your vices, you might need to shake yourself out a little.”
