At the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere in New York City, Ryan Reynolds excitedly revealed the name of his youngest child with his wife, Blake Lively.
Standing in front of the crowd, Ryan said, “I want to start by saying thank you to my wife, Blake, who is here.” He then turned to his kids and added, “I’d like to thank my amazing children, Olin, Betty, Inez, and James. I hope this movie will be the most thrilling event of your lives—that is, if it’s the movie that’s thrilling, not the premiere itself!”
Ryan looked around and smiled, “It’s great that my whole family is here.”

Ryan, who is 47, and Blake, who is 36, have three daughters: Betty, 4; Inez, 7; and James, 9. Just five months after news broke that Blake was expecting their fourth child, the couple welcomed their new baby in February of the previous year.
On February 13, 2023, Ryan shared their joy on CNBC’s Power Lunch, saying, “We are ecstatic. Look, if we didn’t love this, we wouldn’t keep doing it four times.”
He continued, “Everyone is doing fantastic. Everyone is doing incredibly well. We’d be in serious trouble if we hadn’t figured it out by now.”
Ryan kept the name and gender of their new baby a secret at the time. He told Today, “We never find out until the baby is born.” With a grin, he added, “I’m kind of hoping for another girl, but I’m ready for whatever comes.”
