Meghan Markle is said to have contacted her sister-in-law Princess Kate. Apparently, the Duchess wants to bury the hatchet.
In brief:
- Princess Kate recently appeared in public for the first time in a while.
- Shortly before, sister-in-law Meghan is said to have tried to contact her.
- An insider believes a reconciliation would be good for the Duchess’s image.
Could the two become friends after all? Currently, it seems hardly imaginable. But: Meghan Markle (42) is now apparently ready to end the long-standing feud with sister-in-law Kate (41).
The Princess appeared in public for the first time in months last weekend. Kate attended the “Trooping The Colour” birthday parade for King Charles (75).

Photos showed the mother of three alongside her royal family. She smiled and waved to the royal fans from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
Meghan Markle is said to have contacted Princess Kate
Just before the event, Princess Kate is said to have received a contact attempt from the USA. From whom? Meghan Markle!
An anonymous source revealed to “The Closer” what it was about: “Meghan desperately wants to come across as the stronger person and end the feud between the two. Appearing as a kind of royal savior could be good for her image.”
And further: “Despite all her hostility, she sympathizes with Kate. She can only imagine how difficult this situation must be for her.” Meghan is therefore ready to let go of the anger and bitterness and forget all the nonsense.

But does Princess Kate feel the same way? “Of course, it’s not really up to her [Meghan] and Harry. All they can do is keep reaching out and making peace offerings,” the insider adds.
The relationship between Kate and Meghan Markle has been considered tense for years. Especially since Harry and Meghan’s departure from the palace, the relationship is said to be at an all-time low.
To recall: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex burdened the British royal family with serious accusations after their royal exit. They spoke of racism and lack of support, among other things.
Sisters-in-law fought over flower girl dress
But Princess Kate and Meghan Markle had clashed before that. During the preparations for Meghan’s wedding, the sisters-in-law quarreled over Princess Charlotte’s (8) flower girl dress.

The media later reported that Meghan had made Kate cry. But Prince Harry (39) clarified in his autobiography “Spare,” which he published last year, that the drama was the other way around – Meghan was “sobbing on the floor,” not Kate.
However, the Princess sent Meghan flowers and a card the next day in which she apologized.
Besides Princess Kate and Meghan Markle, their husbands William (41) and Harry also badly need a conversation. While the brothers were once inseparable, today they hardly have anything to say to each other.
