Marie Osmond, the famous singer and TV personality, recently surprised everyone with a big change in her look. Known for her trademark brunette hair, the 64-year-old star shocked her fans by revealing a new hairstyle in a recent video.
After she posted the video on Instagram, her fans were quick to react to her bold new style. One fan excitedly said, “Wow, you look like a completely different person!” Another asked, “Oh my Marie, why such a drastic change?”
People had mixed feelings about her new look. One person commented, “I’m not sure I would recognize you as a blonde. You look like a completely different person.” Another added, “Blonde is definitely not her color! I’m sure it’s just a wig and it’s fun to change your hair color!”
But for Marie, this makeover wasn’t just about trying a new hair color—it was about embracing something fresh. In an interview with Closer Weekly before the change, she said, “If my hair gets really, really gray and I can’t dye it black anymore, I’ll go blonde!”
Marie also talked about the struggles she faced with DIY hair care during the pandemic. With salons closed, she had to rely on virtual consultations with her hairstylist. She shared with ET Online, “I called her up and said, ‘How does it look?’ and she goes, ‘You’re right, you really can’t do hair, can you?’”
Despite these challenges, Marie has enjoyed experimenting with her look. “It’s fun because there are all kinds of ways you can hide things and do things that save time and money,” she said.
As fans continued to comment on her new blonde look, one reaction stood out: “Oh my God! You really did THAT to your hair?” But not everyone was thrilled, with another saying, “Blonde is not you…”
Despite the mixed opinions, many fans showed their support. One fan said, “Surprised to see so many negative comments about the blonde look. You look stunning! Ignore the haters.”
Whether Marie’s blonde hair is just a temporary change or something more permanent, one thing is clear—her fans still love her.
