When we think of Kevin Bacon, many things come to mind. He’s famous for his long partnership with Kyra Sedgwick and, of course, his incredible dancing. His rise to fame began in the 1980s with the release of the film Footloose.
If you were lucky enough to see Footloose in theaters, you probably remember some of the iconic dance moves Kevin Bacon showed off. And guess what? He’s still got it! He recently showcased his skills in a popular dance video, but this time he was joined by his daughter.
Kevin Bacon talked about his daughter and the now-viral TikTok video during an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. They practiced and perfected the dance routine for hours.
Even though Kevin joked that his daughter Sosie learned it in five minutes, they both worked very hard. Sosie even showed her dad other TikTok videos to help them nail the dance.
“The last time I worked that hard on a dance,” Kevin joked to Fallon, “was when you asked me to come in and recreate the Footloose dance on this show.”
Their hard work paid off, and the result is simply amazing. In the widely shared “Made You Look” dance video, Kevin and Sosie dance perfectly together. The love and energy they put into their performance make it even more special.
Besides being an inspiration with his successful marriage to Kyra Sedgwick, Kevin Bacon also shows what a devoted and caring father looks like.
It’s truly admirable how much effort he put into making his daughter happy. Great job, Kevin!
