Just when it seemed like Jennifer Garner had done it all to win the hearts of her fans around the globe, she pulled off a generous act that could warm even the coldest of hearts.
The 51-year-old actress was at a parking lot near Santa Monica Beach, California, when she noticed a homeless man in a wheelchair. It’s not hard to guess what most A-list celebrities would have done—jump in their cars and drive away. But Jennifer Garner is different.

Earlier this week, while at the parking lot on Santa Monica Beach, she noticed a homeless man who clearly needed help. Jennifer rolled down her car window to chat with him and gave him a bag filled with important items. But then she noticed something troubling—he was barefoot.
Seeing this, she got out of her car, knelt beside him, and began putting socks on his feet. It was such a touching moment.
But Jennifer didn’t stop there. The star of 13 Going on 30 took off her own shoes and tried to give them to him! Even though it was clear that her shoes were too small, she didn’t give up. Instead, she turned to a nearby paparazzi and asked for his help.
“What size feet do you have?” she asked him. “Can I get him your shoes? He really needs them!”
When the photographer asked what size the homeless man wore, Jennifer replied, “He’s a ten and a half.”
“Oh, I’m eleven! Do you want me to give them to him? I can take them to him!” the photographer said. Without hesitation, he took off his shoes and offered them to Jennifer, refusing to accept any money in return.
Anyone who knows about Jennifer’s life and career won’t be surprised by her generosity. She has a long history of helping those in need, including her work with Save the Children for over a decade.
“I didn’t grow up poor, but I was surrounded by it,” she once shared with Southern Living. “I always said I was a generation and a holler removed from rural poverty.”
She added, “I looked around and found Save the Children because they really set the standard for helping kids in rural America.”
