I once turned to Reddit to share a wild story about my wife. It all started when she released a rabbit into our yard, even though I suggested she should let it go in the bushes.
Right before our kids’ eyes, a hawk swooped down and grabbed the bunny. Our little ones, aged four and five, were horrified. From that day on, they nicknamed their mom the “Bunny Killer,” which really strained their relationship with her.
After some time, I confessed to my wife that I’d posted about the incident on Reddit, which made her pretty mad. But eventually, she admitted she was wrong and should’ve listened to me.
I tried teaching the kids to be kinder to her, but whenever they got mad, that awful nickname would come up again. We talked about seeing a marriage counselor, but she insisted our marriage was fine.
Things seemed okay for a while, but then our oldest came to me, worried about something else. She hesitantly told me that a man had been visiting our house when I was away at work on weekends. My wife called this guy her “special friend” and had even bribed the kids to keep quiet about him.
Noticing more changes in my wife’s behavior—she was irritable, would insult me, then lock herself away and cry—I wondered if she was having an affair. But then it hit me; she acted just like this when she was pregnant before.
So, I installed cameras around the house just in case. My gut feeling was right, and within a week, the cameras caught her with a former colleague of hers, a younger man she once mentored.
Following her with GPS, we realized she was meeting him far from where she usually hung out with her friends. One day, I saw footage of him rubbing her belly. I was devastated and decided to set a trap. I told her I was going on a business trip and had my sister take the kids. Sure enough, she brought her affair partner over.
From my hidden cameras, I heard them talk about the baby they were expecting. Not long after, I had the local sheriff deliver divorce papers to her. She was shocked, tried to fight back, and even locked herself up again.
But I had all the evidence I needed. The police arrived, and after seeing the footage and confirming she wasn’t harmed, they decided to arrest her.
After a drawn-out divorce process, where she tried to mess with my job and reputation, I ended up with full custody of our kids and our house. DNA tests confirmed they were mine, which was a huge relief. That’s how the saga ended, leaving me with just my kids and our home.
