While some people support their independence, others have doubts about their decisions. Instead of calling themselves homeless, the couple calls themselves “houseless,” highlighting the survival skills they’ve developed in their unusual living situation.

The couple started a GoFundMe campaign to prioritize spending time with Leland Jr.’s son and achieve financial stability. Unfortunately, they have only raised $162 of the $10,000 they hoped for.
There is still some mystery around the couple’s situation, as there are different stories about their past and present. Older videos show Leland living in a house and working various jobs, but recent comments reveal they are against seeking traditional employment.
