Many people love getting body modifications like tattoos to express themselves. However, some people are completely against these kinds of things. Kerstin Tristan was one of them until 2015, when one incident changed her mind forever.

Kerstin Tristan, 56, is a mother and grandmother, but her hobbies are far from the usual grandma activities. She loves body modification art, especially tattoos.
Now, her entire body is covered in tattoos, a transformation that cost her a lot of money. But she didn’t always love tattoos. In fact, she hated them until 2015. What changed her mind? It was the year she got her first tattoo, which completely shifted her perspective.
“I simply just wanted to try something new. We all live just once, and I thought that at my age, something real has to come,” she shared.
Since 2015, she has spent 30,000 euros (about US $32,000) on her tattoos. Fortunately, her bold decision has brought her a lot of attention and love.
Her Instagram account has over 190,000 followers, and her TikTok videos have millions of views.
Kerstin isn’t shy about showing off her looks! She posts pictures of herself flaunting her tattoos on Instagram. Just ten years ago, she was tattoo-free and looked completely different. She sometimes posts comparison photos to show the dramatic change.
The German influencer has vibrant roses on her legs, a leopard print on her shoulders, and detailed portraits on her arms, among dozens of other tattoos on her body.
She loves how she looks now, saying, “When I look at myself in the mirror, I see a beautiful meadow full of flowers that one has to love.”
And she’s not the only one who loves her look. One fan wrote, “A beautiful work of art.” Another person commented, “Wow, stunning photo.”
