Goldie Hawn never lets her fans down with her elegance, even when facing mean comments from the internet.
Goldie knows that aging in Hollywood can be tough, but she doesn’t let the insults bother her. At 78 years old, she remains one of the most well-known actresses, and Kurt Russell is absolutely smitten with her.

Goldie Hawn is a strong woman leading a famous family, including actors Oliver (47), Kate Hudson (45), and Wyatt Russell (37). Her girl-next-door charm earned her big roles in movies like Private Benjamin (1980), Overboard (1987) with Kurt Russell, and Stephen Spielberg’s The Sugarland Express (1972).
Before meeting Russell, now 73, Hawn went through two divorces. In 2007, she explained their decision not to marry to Woman’s Day, saying, “We have done just perfectly without marrying. I already feel committed, and isn’t that the whole point of marriage?”
Kate Hudson, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for Almost Famous, thinks they are a perfect match. “Mom is a butterfly and she moves quickly. Pa enjoys his house and his family. When they’re together, it’s so powerful,” she says.

With her famous golden hair still looking natural, the Oscar-winning Hawn remains beautiful even after over fifty years of acting and raising three children.
“Aging is a natural part of life. Living intentionally helps you recognize that life is full of transformations, which you simply have to go through,” she told People. “You know what, it’s great that you’re getting older? It means you’re still alive!”
Hawn is aware of the ageism in Hollywood. “Women will always fight this battle,” she told Bazaar. “Do you think you’re going to show Hollywood that you’re still a desirable, marketable object at 45? No. A specific world exists. Does it infuriate me? No. I don’t get irritated easily. Anger is a useless emotion. It isn’t beneficial.”
Hawn accepts her age, but she can’t avoid the harsh comments on social media.

In 2022, Hawn and Russell took a trip to Greece, where they were seen enjoying the sea. Hawn wore a black and white polka dot sundress over a black swimsuit, while Russell sported black and white board shorts.
Instead of praising the couple, internet critics were harsh. One said, “They appear as though they belong in a retirement community. They both appear really ancient, and while I can appreciate that they are older, [it] seems like they didn’t age well.”
Another commented, “No, not attractive,” while a third wrote, “Can you think of a famous person who is naturally ugly? Goldie Hawn.”
Another cruelly added, “OMG-Goldie Hawn will give me nightmares with what she has done with her face.”

Many fans defended the couple, who recently starred as Mr. and Mrs. Claus in The Christmas Chronicles franchise.

But Kurt Russell had the sweetest words. “We were planning to go out to dinner the other night. ‘You’re unbelievable,’ he said, looking at me. ‘It’s unbelievable how [beautiful] you look,’ he exclaimed,” recalled Hawn.
At their 2017 Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, Russell said, “To you, I owe my amazing life. Goldie, I love you. That is far more impressive than all the stars in the sky or on the boulevard combined. Goldie Hawn is the only person I’d rather be next to for all of that.”
