Susan’s Friday Night Frustration
For Susan, Friday nights were a nightmare. Her neighbor Jessica’s guests always parked their cars in her driveway, ruining her evenings. After countless ruined Fridays, Susan decided enough was enough. It was time to take matters into her own hands.
Frustration Boils Over
Every Friday night, Susan would come home exhausted after a long day at work, only to find a stranger’s car parked in her driveway. Frustrated, she had confronted Jessica multiple times.
“Jessica, this has to stop,” Susan would say, her voice firm with annoyance.
But Jessica just shrugged. “It’s just one night, Susan. You can park on the street,” she replied, brushing off Susan’s concerns like it was no big deal.
The Emergency
Then one night, things got even worse. Susan got a frantic call from her mom, who needed to go to the hospital immediately. Panicking, Susan rushed outside, but her driveway was blocked again by another guest’s car. Desperate and with no time to waste, she had to call a taxi to get her mom to the hospital. That was the last straw for Susan. She knew she had to put an end to this once and for all.
Revenge in Motion
The following Friday, Susan was ready for action. As expected, one of Jessica’s guests parked in her driveway. But this time, instead of getting upset, Susan calmly went outside and parked her own car right behind the guest’s, blocking them in completely.
Later that evening, there was a loud knock on Susan’s door. Jessica stood there, furious.
“Susan, move your car right now! My guests need to leave!” Jessica demanded, clearly expecting Susan to back down.
But Susan had had enough. She looked Jessica in the eye and calmly replied, “No, Jessica. I’m tired of your parties and the problems they cause me. This is my driveway, and I’m not moving my car.”
Police Involvement
Fuming, Jessica stormed off and called the police, certain they would force Susan to move her car. When Officer Miller arrived, he listened carefully to both sides. Jessica was still fuming, confident that Susan would be in trouble.
But Susan had thought this through. When Officer Miller asked her to move her car, she pretended to be tipsy. “I’d love to help, Officer, but I’ve had a couple of drinks, and I don’t think it’s safe for me to drive,” she explained with a smirk.
Officer Miller looked at Susan and then back at Jessica. “If she’s been drinking, she legally can’t drive. And as long as her car is parked on her own property, there’s nothing we can do,” he said with a shrug.
Jessica was livid, but there was nothing more she could do. The officer left, and Susan’s car stayed right where it was, trapping Jessica’s guest’s car for the rest of the night.
The Final Blow
The next morning, Susan decided to take things a step further. She went to the police station and filed a formal complaint about the ongoing parking issues. Officer Miller, now fully aware of the situation, reviewed her complaint and decided to issue fines to Jessica’s guests for illegally parking in Susan’s driveway.
The story quickly spread around the neighborhood, and soon everyone was talking about how Susan had stood up to Jessica and her inconsiderate guests. From that day on, no one ever dared to park in Susan’s driveway again.
And Susan? She finally had her peaceful Friday nights back.
