Dolly Parton has had an incredibly successful and long career in the spotlight. She’s been a top entertainer for decades, charming fans with her talent and charisma.

Despite her legendary status, Dolly still has critics. Recently, some have been giving her a hard time about her looks, even though she’s almost in her eighties.

At 77 years old, Dolly Parton is a household name in both country music and the celebrity world. Born in Tennessee, she’s become a true legend. Dolly has spent her entire life performing and singing, always loving to entertain her fans.

In a recent interview with Pollystar, Dolly shared that she won’t be touring anymore. She said:

“I’ll do special shows here and there, now and then. Maybe do a long weekend of shows, or just a few shows at a festival. But I have no intention of going on a full-blown tour anymore.”

Growing up in poverty in the Appalachian Mountains, Dolly managed to reach the top of the entertainment world. Her presence on stage will certainly be missed.

Despite her undeniable popularity, some people still criticize her for her appearance. This has been an issue since the start of her career. Dolly has even remembered people advising her to change her signature look if she wanted a serious career.

“The main advice that people wanted to give me was to change my look – to go simpler with my hair and the way that I dress,” she explained. “They told me not to look so cheap, that nobody would take me seriously.”

The mean comments haven’t stopped over the years. In fact, some people seem even more eager to criticize her unfairly. One Twitter user wrote, “Dolly Parton is one ugly lady,” while another said, “Dolly Parton is so ugly, but she has nice breasts.”

Despite the unkindness and mean comments online, Dolly remains positive. She’s comfortable with her body and looks and isn’t about to change for anyone.

“It costs a lot of money to look this cheap,” she famously said.

Her husband loves her just the way she is. “He doesn’t care if I’m fat,” said Dolly. “He was never turned off. He’s fool enough to think I’m the sexiest, prettiest woman in the world.”

Dolly is still hungry for success and new challenges. According to Rolling Stone, she’s ready to embrace her 2022 entry into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by working on an album that might surprise some fans.

Fans were thrilled last year when they learned that Dolly Parton was being considered for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame after her stellar career. At first, Dolly herself was reluctant about the honor. The “Jolene” singer thought that since her career was mostly country music, others might be more suited for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

However, the people spoke, and voters decided that Dolly did belong there. In November, she was inducted into the Hall of Fame and immediately set out to prove her worthiness.

I don’t care what anyone says, I think Dolly Parton is incredibly talented!
