The NFL season has kicked off, and that means the spotlight is back on pop sensation Taylor Swift.

Not everyone in the football world may be thrilled about it, but Taylor’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce definitely grabbed attention last season. Swift made several appearances at games to cheer on her boyfriend.

The buzz hit its peak during last season’s Super Bowl, where the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers. Taylor’s presence was so powerful that it almost overshadowed the game. Her star power is undeniable, and it seems like it’s here to stay.

The Swift-Kelce romance continued strong into the new season. On September 5, 2024, Swift was at Arrowhead Stadium to watch Kelce and the Chiefs take on the Baltimore Ravens.

Swift made a grand entrance, wearing a stylish Medusa ’95 Versace denim corset top, thigh-high red Giuseppe Zanotti boots, and carrying a Louis Vuitton handbag. She looked radiant, but not everyone agreed.

These days, it’s no surprise that people on the internet are quick to criticize from behind their screens. Even someone as famous as Taylor Swift faces unwarranted negativity. This time, when she showed up to support Kelce in the Chiefs’ opener, some comments were less than flattering.

One person wrote, “She’s getting thick 👀 … 🤰?” suggesting she might be pregnant.

Another commenter said, “So tacky! Can she not get a fashion consultant?”

A third added, “With all her money, you’d think she could have had her stylist pick out a better outfit.”

But there were also plenty of people defending Swift and praising her look. “Can’t believe some people say she ‘put on too much weight.’ She looks better like this than she did as a stick figure,” one supporter wrote.

Another chimed in, “Definitely find her more attractive with some extra meat on her bones. Never liked the twig physique.”

Videos from the game showed Swift interacting with Kelce’s parents, Ed and Donna, from the Chiefs tight end’s private box. After the Chiefs won, Travis and Taylor were spotted leaving Arrowhead Stadium together.
