And things got even tougher for her. Last week at the Toronto Film Festival, some fans called her the “worst dressed” of the event. The festival, which attracts big celebrities, saw Lopez step onto the red carpet in a dress that was meant to impress but ended up being quite controversial.
The 55-year-old star wore a flashy metallic gown by designer Tamara Ralph. The dress was designed to stand out with large sections of her sides exposed and secured with black velvet bows.
Despite its bold appearance, the outfit didn’t win everyone over. The internet quickly lit up with comments, and many people didn’t like what they saw. Critics even went so far as to name Lopez the “worst dressed” of the night.
Lopez was at the festival to promote Unstoppable, a film she worked on with Affleck. Unsurprisingly, Affleck wasn’t there, as he was reportedly busy with other work.
Lopez, known for her daring fashion choices, seemed to push the limits with this disco ball-inspired dress. Social media exploded with mixed reactions almost immediately. Some users were especially harsh in their critiques.

Plus, how could anyone move comfortably in that?”
This fashion fiasco comes right after Lopez’s divorce filing, which followed months of rumors about trouble in her marriage. The couple, who seemed to be heading for a fairytale ending after their surprise Las Vegas wedding in 2022, had been seen without their wedding rings in recent months.
Affleck was even rumored to have moved out of their Beverly Hills home, while Lopez canceled her tour, saying she needed more time with her family.
