“She was crazy,” Alec recalled in 1998. “I would always find out last. She was thinking that she could fix her face like a piece of furniture. Skin does not work that way. But she wouldn’t listen.”
During the 1990s, Jocelyn became a regular feature in the tabloids due to her high-profile divorce from Alec. She walked away with an enormous settlement of about $2.5 billion, which was divided into annual payments. However, after Alec’s death, his family cut her off from those payments, leading to significant financial struggles. In 2018, Jocelyn even had to file for bankruptcy because of her growing debts.
