After a divorce, it’s common to make changes. Maybe it’s new clothes, a new car, a fresh haircut, or even a new social circle. It’s natural to want to shake things up after such a life-altering event.
Even celebrities aren’t immune to post-divorce makeovers. According to Radar Online, Kevin Costner is going through one right now.
Here’s a quick rundown: In 2023, the Dances With Wolves star and Christine Baumgartner ended their 19-year marriage. Reports suggest Costner was surprised by Christine’s decision to initiate the divorce. After a court battle, Costner was ordered to pay $63,209 in child support each month, much less than the $161,592 Christine initially sought.
Since the divorce, the 69-year-old actor has been linked to several women, including singer Jewel. The two reportedly took a vacation together. In an April interview, Jewel described Kevin as “a great person” and acknowledged the public fascination with their rumored relationship.
Whether or not Costner has found new love remains to be seen, but Radar Online claims he has made noticeable changes since his split from Christine.
“He fusses over his hair nonstop and is now getting weaves,” a source told The Globe. “He’s also dabbling in beauty treatments like Botox and spray tans to look younger. He used to be a wash-and-go guy, but now he spends hours getting ready and is really obsessed with his hair.”
The source added, “With the bleached fuzz on top of his head, his buddies make fun of him for appearing like a scarecrow, but he doesn’t mind because he thinks it looks wonderful.”
Indeed, Costner was recently seen at the Cannes Film Festival promoting his new four-part Western series, Horizon: An American Saga, sporting bleached blond hair and a noticeably longer hairline.
